Halo Print E-mail

This colorful comics magazine is designed as an enrichment material for students in their early elementary years (Grades 1-4). It  is published monthly, except during the school break from March to June.

The Main Features for each issue of this Pauline publication are two back-to-back illustrated scripts on the lives of Bible characters, Saints and Blesseds of the Church, or outstanding men and women of human and Christian values. Hence, the name HALO… in  reference to the ring of light that is often placed around the head of pictures and icons of saintly persons to indicate their good aura.

July 2001 was the date of the maiden issue of this magazine which evolved from an earlier monthly comics for the young – “Pik Pak Boom.” – that came out first in July 1996.

Among the Paulines who served as Editors of this project were: Fr. Feliciano Marquez, Bro. Hansel Mapayo, Bro. Dennis Figuerres, Fr. Ulysses Navarro, and Cleric Jesus Gozum.
